Write for us
Golden Music Journal welcomes pitches that make one musical detail newly audible or understandable. We are interested in clear, self-contained ideas for curious general readers, not promotional copy or claims that cannot be supported.
What to pitch
We consider original pieces about listening, recording, songcraft, instruments and music memory. A useful pitch names its central question, explains what the reader will understand by the end, and gives a brief account of the examples or sources that will support it. Keep the subject focused enough to develop without relying on specialist equipment, private access or personal credentials.
What makes a strong contribution
Bring a distinct point of view, precise musical detail and language that welcomes readers without assuming expertise. Separate what can be established from what you hear or infer. Tell us if the idea has appeared elsewhere or if you have a relevant commercial connection.
How to send a proposal
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a working title, a concise pitch and a short note about your relevant experience. Unsolicited full drafts are not necessary; do not include confidential or sensitive material.
