Golden Music Journal

Editorial policy

Golden Music Journal aims to be accurate, transparent and independent in its coverage of music. We explain our reasoning, keep opinion distinct from fact, and make visible the interests behind material published with partners.

Accuracy and context

We check names, dates, terminology and other factual details against suitable sources before publication. We do not present a listening impression as a verified fact, or imply that a single example represents every musician, genre or tradition. If a point is disputed or uncertain, we describe that limit rather than smoothing it away.

Independence and partner material

Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements. Partner contributions and paid placements are clearly identified where they appear, and their presence does not guarantee editorial approval or a favourable assessment. We do not let a partner determine conclusions in independent editorial work.

Corrections

Readers can report an error through the Contact page. We review specific, actionable reports and correct confirmed mistakes in the relevant text; where a substantive change could alter a reader's understanding, we make the correction clear.

Images and illustrations

Some illustrations may be generated with AI. We identify AI-generated illustrations where they appear and do not use them to suggest documentary evidence or an authentic historical image.
